Dominic Scholfield is an experienced consultant who is passionate about creating business-led solutions to transport problems. In pursuit of this goal he has also previously founded a social enterprise, as well as working in the corporate and NGO sectors.
Dominic combines a background in environmental science and data analysis with experience in business and communications. His key contribution lies in assimilating technical knowledge rapidly, developing a coherent and strategic vision for each customer he works with, and sharing that vision effectively with a variety of stakeholders. For the last 15 years he has worked in the transport sector, on projects ranging from travel planning policy development to technical analysis of low carbon vehicle trials.
Dominic is also an experienced contributor to policy debates at the nexus of industry and government. For the last 3 years he has chaired the Renewable Energy Association’s working group on gaseous fuels in transport, and he is a member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport’s Freight Policy Advisory Group. He is also a regular contributor to a variety of other working groups at the REA and the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership.
