I am an experienced consultant with an entrepreneurial approach to solving the complex issues around transport, and a longstanding passion for addressing climate change. As well as consulting, I have founded several businesses including a social enterprise, and have worked in the corporate and NGO sectors.

I combine a background in environmental science and data analysis with experience in business and communications. My key contribution lies in assimilating technical knowledge rapidly, developing a coherent and strategic vision for each customer I work with, and sharing that vision effectively with a variety of stakeholders. For the last 20 years I have worked in the transport sector, on projects ranging from policy development to technical analysis.

I am also an experienced contributor to policy debates at the nexus of industry and government. I previously chaired the Renewable Energy Association’s working group on gaseous fuels in transport, I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport’s Freight Policy Advisory Group, a regular contributor to a variety of other working groups at the REA and ZEMO, and I was a member of the BSI committee feeding in to the recent ISO standard on calculating transport emissions.
